ROCKPORT, TEXAS - ARANASAS NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE
Head out with Jeff aboard the Jack Flash on this photo tour designed to capture vivid images of endangered Whooping Cranes. This tour holds space for five (5) participants--plus Jeff-- to experience the magic of two boat-based morning photo shoots designed to catch the cranes at their most active, as they feast upon the Gulf-Coast bounty.
Watch the behavior of these unique birds—the last decedents of nature’s only totally wild flock—in their own habitat along Aransas National Wildlife Refuge. Laugh as juveniles interact with their parents. Gaze in wonder at the birds’ size and elegant gawkiness. Smile at the sound of their trumpeting calls. Gulp as they pull up blue crabs from the mud of the estuary bottom.
And--with Jeff’s guidance--take a variety of incredible photographs along the way!
